Who is Douglas McCall?

Meet Douglas, a dedicated professional whose life mission revolves around uplifting others. With a fervent commitment, he channels his energy into actively listening and guiding individuals through the twists and turns of their journeys. As a seasoned public school educator, he didn't just teach subjects but served as a mentor, tackling diverse challenges faced by teens, extending far beyond the classroom curriculum.

Transitioning seamlessly into academia, Douglas assumed the role of a college professor, where he became a beacon for young adults navigating the complexities of adulthood. His impact knows no bounds; he's lent a helping hand to countless individuals, offering not just advice but a compassionate ear and a roadmap through life's obstacles.

 

Beyond the classroom and lecture hall, Douglas has led diverse groups, from intimate gatherings to large-scale assemblies, in honing their skills for peak performance in their professional lives. His expertise extends into the realm of identity research, where he's crafted methodologies to understand and harness the power of mindfulness and reflection, crucial in mitigating career burnout.

 

But Douglas's reach doesn't stop there. Alongside his work with Identity Evolution Coaching, he holds the prestigious position of Director of Choral Activities at West Liberty University. With over two decades of experience as a choral teacher in Central New York, his journey is marked by a rich tapestry of academic achievements, including degrees from renowned institutions like the Crane School of Music, Ithaca College, SUNY Oswego, and a Ph.D. from Penn State.
